"Intuition doesn't fail us, we fail it." - Maureen & Guides

This is a pretty powerful quote from the guides if you really think about it. And that's because it's true. We always feel like we are 'not intuitive' or that our 'intuition fails us'. How many times have you said that to someone else? However, it isn't our intuition that fails us, it is our perception and ability to understand what our intuition is saying that fails us.

Do you trust your intuition? What percentage of the time do you actually follow your intuition without any doubt? 100% of the time? 70%? 40%? 20%?

That number says a lot about your trust level. Not only in your own intuition level, but in your level of trust in the concept of intuition itself.

So what is the definition of intuition? Here is a definition from www.thefreedictionary.com:

in·tu·i·tion (ĭn′to͞o-ĭsh′ən, -tyo͞o-) n.

1. The faculty of knowing or understanding something without reasoning or proof. See Synonyms at reason.

An impression or insight gained by the use of this faculty:

"I had this intuition you would come here just after the rain broke"

Hummm...

"Knowing or understanding something without reasoning or proof." That means that we have to have trust that what we know or understand is correct for us. So if the concept of intuition itself is that intuition is unfailing, then the quote stands, "Intuition doesn't fail us, we fail it."

How often are you failing your own intuition? How often are you doubting your intuition? Do you follow your intuition when you have intuitive ideas waft through?

The more you anchor into your Essence, the purest aspect of your being and your connector to Source, the more intuitive you become. In fact, the more trusting you become. When you get an intuitive hit or idea, you know it is coming from your Essence. Since you trust your Essence (or the concept of intuition itself), you follow through on your idea. As a result, you see the pay off in your physical reality; something goes better than you expected as a result of your intuitive guidance or you avoid a harder path as a result of your inner guidance. This is how you begin to discover Easy Path; finding the easiest, gentlest, most positive solutions to your issues.

We all have issues, it's how we deal with them that really makes us either a victim or a master of our own destiny. Which are you?
